USDF Announces 2005 GMO Newsletter and Web Site Award Winners

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2005 Group-Member Organization (GMO) Newsletter and Web Site Awards.

The winner of the award for best newsletter layout and design among GMOs with fewer than 75 members is Southern Arizona Dressage Association (September 2004 issue), published by the Southern Arizona Dressage Association (SAzDA).

The winner of the award for best newsletter layout and design among GMOs with 76 to 175 members is The Contact (July/August 2005 issue), published by the Westchester-Fairfield Dressage Association (WFDA).

The winner of the award for best newsletter layout and design among GMOs with 176 to 500 members is Collected Comments (May/June 2005 issue), published by the Dressage Association of Southern California (DASC).

The winner of the award for best newsletter layout and design among GMOs with more than 500 members is A Tip of the Hat (August 2005 issue), published by the New England Dressage Association (NEDA).

The winner of the award for best first-person-experience article is "Marina Murray takes on the USDF Instructor Certification program" by Marina Murray. The article was featured in the April 2005 issue of Forward West, published by the Heart Mountain Dressage Club (HMDC).

The winner of the award for best general-interest article is "SFP Chapter Trailer Safety Clinic" by Mary Cayley. The article was featured in the April 2005 issue of Dressage Letters, published by the California Dressage Society (CDS).

The winner of the award for best Web site design among GMOs with fewer than 75 members is the Crossroads Dressage Society (www.crossroadsdressage.org).

The winner of the award for best Web site design among GMOs with 76 to 175 members is the Southwest Florida Dressage Association (http://swfda.com).

The winner of the award for best Web site design among GMOs with 176 to 500 members is the Equestrians' Institute (www.equestriansinstitute.org).

The winner of the award for best Web site design among GMOs with more than 500 members is the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society (www.rmds.org).

These award winners will be honored at the USDF National Convention during the Salute Gala on Thursday, December 1, when they will be presented with awards sponsored by Fantasy Glassworks, Inc.
