USDF Announces New Instructor/Trainer Program Faculty

          Lexington, KY (February 5, 2013) – The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce that Sarah Martin, of Blanca, CO, has been appointed as a new faculty member for the USDF Instructor/Trainer Program, eligible to teach the program's workshops through Fourth Level.  Sarah is a Certified Instructor through Fourth Level, a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, and an "L" Graduate with Distinction.  Sarah has served as a member of the USDF Instructor/Trainer Committee for several years and has been involved in the implementation of many of the changes taking place in the program.
          Also joining the faculty are Annie Morris of Columbia, CT, William McMullin of Stoughton, MA, Jayne Marino of Pawling, NY, and Jane Rodd of Reading, VT.  These faculty members are the first group to be appointed as Training to First Level Faculty, making them eligible to teach the program's newly implemented Training to First Level Workshops.  These new faculty members are all Certified Instructors through Fourth Level and USDF Bronze and Silver Medalists.  William McMullin is also a licensed USEF ‘r' Judge.
          The Instructor/Trainer Program workshops are an opportunity to learn about classical theories of riding, training, teaching and lungeing and are open to anyone.  "We are pleased to add these new members to our Instructor/Trainer Workshop Faculty, and we hope that by providing more qualified faculty, that our program will continue to grow," stated both Lilo Fore and Chris Hickey, co-chairs of the Instructor/Trainer Committee.
