Lexington, KY (December 17, 2024) – The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce the new 2025 USDF Executive Board, as elected by the USDF Board of Governors at its annual convention in Houston, TX. This year’s elections included the positions of president, treasurer, regional directors for even numbered regions (2, 4, 6, and 8), and a special election for Region 7, to fulfill the current term after former Region 7 Director Carol Tice stepped down.

Current USDF Vice President Kevin Reinig ran unopposed to replace current President George Williams as his final term comes to a close, and nominee Steven Schubert rescinded his nomination for treasurer, after which incumbent Lorraine Musselman was nominated from the floor and reelected by acclimation. Incumbent regional directors from Regions 2, 4, and 8, Debby Savage, Anne Sushko, and Helen van der Voort, respectively, were also elected by acclimation, running unopposed. The only contested race was for Region 6 in which incumbent Noah Rattner faced off against nominee from the floor Mike Taylor, with Noah coming out victorious and retaining his position for another term. The special election for Region 7 Director was another unopposed candidate, Regina Antonioli, who had been named interim Region 7 Director since Carol’s departure, being elected by acclimation.

Outgoing President George Williams shared these words, “In many ways I believe the USDF is entering a brand new era. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as President. I’ve truly enjoyed my many years of working with our wonderful staff, who along with the volunteers play such a vital role in the success of USDF. For me, it’s exciting to see younger leadership taking the helm. I’m confident in passing the torch onto Kevin. He will do an excellent job of working with a motivated Executive Board in moving USDF forward and continuing to expand the most recent educational initiatives.”

USDF extends its sincerest thanks to all nominees and outgoing, incoming, and continuing members of the Executive Board for their dedication to both the sport and organization, and looks forward to a positive and prosperous 2025 under their leadership.
