Brook Irving-Martz (2023)

Brook Irving-Martz took an interest in helping and promoting youth in her home region many years ago. In 2004, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2016, and 2017, she served as Chef d 'Equipe for Region 6. In 2019, she was a Youth Outreach Clinician. In 1999, she and her sister opened their own training facility, Kellenbrook Farms, which has now grown to a 32-horse stable that trains some of the top young dressage riders in the nation. She has proudly taken ten of her youth riders to the North American Youth Championships and seven to Festival of Champions.

Those who know Brook know that she is always willing to lend a hand where needed, never backing down from a challenge. One year, when the previous regional coordinator unexpectedly left their role, Brook stepped in a temporary FEI Young Rider Regional Coordinator, juggling the many duties associated with the position with aplomb. Not limiting herself strictly to promoting youth, Brook’s impact has also been felt in other ways. In 2018 and 2020, she served on the Dressage Seat Equitation Committee to help further equitation initiatives across the country.
